Location
Minnehaha Park is located at 4801 Minnehaha Ave S. This is on the west bank of the Mississippi River, north of Highway 62/Crosstown and south of Lake Street. Get directions here.

Route
The 10 kilometers/6.2 miles AIDS Walk crosses the Mississippi River into St. Paul, follows it back down to the Ford Parkway Bridge, and crosses back into Minneapolis by Minnehaha Park. The AIDS Walk usually takes about 2.5 hours to complete. There are six rest stops along the route, each with refreshments, rest rooms, entertainment, and first aid kits

Park Navigation
Please refer to the park and route maps for the location of tents. Each tent will be color-coded with balloons outside the tent. Participants will also be given a copy of the maps upon arrival.

Registration and Incentive Prizes
Walkers turn in their pledges inside the Registration Pavilion. Donations from non-registered participants may be accepted here as well. Incentive prizes will also be available inside the Registration Pavilion.

HIV Testing and Education
Minnesota AIDS Project will be providing free HIV tests and counseling for all attendees in the HIV Testing tent. There will also be an HIV Education tent to test your HIV knowledge and give you a chance to learn more about the work being done by Minnesota AIDS Project.

Junior Walkers
All Junior Walkers (ages 12 & under) must register with their parents at the Registration Pavilion. After they register, we encourage kids to check out the Junior Walker tent for fun activities.

Team Pictures

After dropping off donations and picking up incentive prizes at the Registration Pavilion, AIDS Walk teams should head to the Teams Tent to get their team picture taken (park map coming soon). All team captains should check in at the Teams Tent. Only teams that check in at the Teams Tent will have their free team photo taken.
